Claude Pricing

I wasn’t aware that Claude subscription prices vary depending on where you purchase them. I was initially confused when I noticed the price differences — I thought it might be due to USD to AUD conversion and wasn’t sure which currency I was looking at. Claude clarified that the difference is actually due to the 30% fee charged by Apple and Google. Why would anyone buy a Max plan through a mobile app? Looks like I’ll need to give up eating out and coffee to afford it!
